In these Terms and Conditions, the terms "Dogbet Pty Ltd", "we", "us", or "our", refer to Dogbet Pty Limited, ABN: 91 638 781 656. The terms "you" and "your" refer to individuals who have provided their details in order to establish an Account via the Website. The following definitions apply unless a contrary intention appears:
Account and Betting Account means an individual betting account issued at your initiation by Dogbet Pty Ltd to you.
AML/CTF legislation means the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), including any amendment or superseding legislation.
Audit Log means the records maintained in our computer systems that record all online activities occurring on our Website.
Claims means all claims, liabilities, losses (direct, indirect and consequential), damages, expenses and costs. This includes legal costs and contingent liabilities.
Indemnified Parties means Dogbet Pty Ltd ABN 91 638 781 656 768 and its directors, employees, contractors and officers.
Maximum Payment Cap means that the maximum amount you can win on any bet (win, place or multi) placed with us is limited to a maximum of $10,000 AUD.
Multi and Multiple Betting means a bet involving a selection(s) in two or more declared events.
Service means all wagering and betting services and products provided by us to you via your Account.
Stake means the face value or purchase price of a bet or wager.
Terms and Conditions means this Wagering Terms and Conditions document, as well as the documents listed in section 1. We may amend all of these documents from time to time, at our sole and absolute discretion.
Website means the website located at www.puntondogs.com.au
Withdrawal means a withdrawal of funds from your Betting Account into an account held in your name with an Australian financial institution.

Dogbet Pty Ltd maintains and operates the Website www.puntondogs.com.au for the purpose of providing a betting and wagering service. By establishing an Account via the Website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions may need to be updated from time to time. Any changes will be notified on the Website. If we make amendments to the terms and condition documents that we deem may be material or significant, we will provide you with notification of these changes via email. Should you find any of these changes to be unacceptable, you should immediately discontinue use of the Website and/or close your Account. If, however, you continue to use the Website after the date on which the new Terms and Conditions come into effect, you will be deemed to have accepted those new Terms and Conditions.

Dogbet Pty Ltd will only provide one Account to a natural person, who must be eighteen years of age or over and reside in Australia. You must join up to the Service via the Website. In order to join you must mark the relevant box stating that you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

When opening an account with Dogbet Pty Ltd, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that all information you provide to us is complete and accurate. Where we discover this is not the case, at our sole discretion we reserve the absolute right to suspend and/or cancel your Account and treat any deposits into your Account as being invalid (and any winnings arising from such deposit as void).
Accounts are not marked as active until you have clicked on the email link to confirm your email address. Once your Account is activated you can deposit funds into our nominated bank account via electronic bank transfer. You can start betting as soon as we have processed the cleared funds into your Account. It can sometimes take up to 48 hours for funds to be processed as "clear" into your Account after you make the funds transfer.
You can choose your own password for your Account. The Website will only accept passwords in a certain format to ensure adequate password strength. From time to time, you may be required to alter or update your password. It is your responsibility to protect your password. All betting transactions placed on your Account are your responsibility. You agree that we will not be held liable for any password breach in any circumstance whatsoever.
You agree that you will verify your identity via our Website process within 60 days of opening your Account. The verification of your identity is required in order to ensure that:

In the event that you are unable to verify your identity to our absolute satisfaction, we will suspend your Account until such time as we receive further information and documentation that allows us to satisfactorily verify your identity and comply with our legislative requirements.
In the event that you fail to provide us with documentation to establish and verify your identity within 60 days of opening your Account, we reserve the absolute right to suspend and/or cancel your Account and treat any deposits into your Account as being invalid (and any winnings arising from such deposit as void).
You may only bet/wager with the amount of cleared funds held in your Account. Accordingly, if you wish to place bets you must deposit sufficient monies into your Account. Further details as to how to deposit, withdraw and transfer funds into your Account can be found on the deposits section of the Website.
You should only deposit funds into your Account from a source financial institution where you are the named account holder. In such cases where Dogbet Pty Ltd identifies that the source of the funds deposited is from a name that is different to you, we reserve the absolute right and discretion to treat any such deposits into your Account as being invalid (and any winnings arising from such deposit as void).
Any monies deposited with us and/or monies held in your Account shall not bear any interest.
Any deposits made into your Account are made at your absolute discretion. You warranty to us that we have not coerced or induced or unduly encouraged you to deposit monies into your Account.
Any monies deposited with us are held in our bank account operated in our name and titled "client deposits". We do not use the monies in this account for any purpose other than the execution of our services. You agree that we do not hold any monies that you deposit with us in trust on your behalf.
Any monies deposited with us by a previously excluded person will incur a $25 administration fee to have any such deposit reversed.
Any monies deposited with us by an account holder who has exceeded their own responsible gambling deposit limits will incur a $25 administration fee to have any such deposit reversed.
Any monies deposited with us by an account holder who does not place bets totalling 20% or more of the amount of the deposit will be charged an administration fee being 20% of the value of the deposit.
If you wish to make a withdrawal from your Account, you must nominate an Australian financial institution account that is able to receive such Withdrawal payments. Withdrawal payments can only be made to an Australian account that is held in an identical name as your Dogbet Pty Ltd account. Prior to processing Withdrawal payments, Dogbet Pty Ltd will require evidence that the nominated financial institution account name is identical to the Dogbet Pty Ltd Account name. Such evidence shall constitute a verifiable copy of a bank statement that is not more than three months old.
The minimum amount that can be withdrawn at any point in time is $50.
Withdrawal payments are debited out of your account immediately. Dogbet Pty Ltd will usually process the withdrawal payment on the next business day after a valid Withdrawal request has been made.
Dogbet Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for any delay, damages, direct loss, indirect loss or consequential loss that you may suffer as either a direct or indirect result of you providing us with incorrect bank account details or for any other reason whatsoever. You indemnity us against any and all such claims that may arise as a consequence of same.
If we incur any charge-backs, reversals or other charges in respect of your account, we reserve the right to charge you for the relevant amounts incurred.
Under no circumstances will withdrawals be processed unless an account holder has verified their identity in accordance with section 4 of these terms and conditions.
Dogbet Pty Ltd offers the following bet types on New South Wales Greyhound Racing and Victorian Greyhound Racing only:
Fixed Odds Multi Bet Odds are calculated by multiplying the odds of all selections together.
Dogbet Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend its product offerings at any time, without notice.
Dogbet Pty Ltd reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend a betting market at any time, for any reason whatsoever and without notice. Dogbet Pty Ltd cannot be held liable for any damages and/or loss including consequential loss as a result of suspending a market.
You acknowledge and warrant that unless we have provided our approval, our Services are only to be used for your personal use. We do not permit our products or Services to be used for any commercial purposes, unless we have provided you with written approval to do so.
Dogbet Pty Ltd reserves the right to decline all, or part, of any bet/wager requested at its sole and absolute discretion. All bets/wagers are placed at your own risk and discretion.
We only accept bets/wagers made through our website. Bets/wagers are not accepted in any other form (telephone, post, email, fax, etc.). Any attempts made via the aforementioned excluded form, where received, will be both invalid and void, regardless of the outcome of the bet/wager.
It is your responsibility to ensure details of your bets/wagers are correct. Once bets/wagers have been submitted by you they cannot be cancelled or modified by you for any reason.
Dogbet Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel any bet/wager at any time. Details as to when such cancellations might occur are outlined in section 11 of these Terms and Conditions.
You are responsible for all bets/wagers made via your Account.
Should you include a non-runner or void selection in a multiple bet, the outcome of the bet will be settled on the remaining selections.
Betting in the run, (where a bet is placed or accepted after the commencement of an event), is strictly prohibited by law. For events where there is no official "off" declared, the advertised start time of the event will be deemed the "off". If for any reason a bet is inadvertently accepted after an event has commenced, such bets will be declared void and the Stake refunded. Any disputes that arise as to the time the bet was placed will be settled using our Audit Log and in accordance with section 18 of these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to cancel bets at our absolute and sole discretion. We will notify you of the cancellation as soon as the cancellation becomes known to us. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, this notification will be provided prior to the start of the relevant race.
Circumstances where we may elect to cancel bets include, but are not limited to:
In the event that a race is declared as abandoned then any bets placed on that race will be declared void and the Stake will be refunded.
If a meeting is transferred to another venue or postponed to another date, all bets/wagers are declared void and the stake will be refunded.
If a meeting is abandoned and/or postponed after one or more races have been run and officially declared by Stewards, all remaining bets/wagers will be declared void and the Stake(s) will be refunded. Any un-resulted multi bets/wagers will be recalculated minus the void selections, declared and any relevant dividends will be paid into Accounts.
Winnings are calculated in accordance with section 19 of these Terms and Conditions.
Winnings from settled bets/wagers are added to the balance of your Account. Any funds/winnings credited to your Account in error are not available for use. Dogbet Pty Ltd reserves the right to void any transactions involving such funds and/or immediately withdraw the relevant amount from your Account and/or reverse the transaction. This can occur either at the time or retrospectively.
The maximum payout for any one wager (including multi bets) is limited to $10,000 AUD, regardless of a dividend calculation that may show a higher payout. This maximum payment cap overrides all contrary dividend calculation outcomes. You warrant that you use our products and Services, including placing bets with us knowing that the maximum dividend payout of a bet is limited to no more than a maximum of $10,000 AUD.
In circumstances where your Account is inadvertently overdrawn, we will notify you as soon as we become aware of same. You agree that we reserve the right to:
At the absolute discretion of Dogbet Pty Ltd, any suspicious betting or suspicious Account activity that is detected, may result in the immediate suspension and/or cancellation of the relevant Account. In such circumstances Dogbet Pty Ltd in its absolute and sole discretion, may provide your identity, Account details and wagering details to a Government agency and/or industry regulator. You agree that Dogbet Pty Ltd cannot be held liable for Claims that you may suffer as a result of same. This waiver of liability remains regardless of the objective reasonableness or otherwise, as to basis for the suspicion held by Dogbet Pty Ltd.
We reserve the right to suspend and/or cancel your Account at our sole discretion. Circumstances that may lead to us making a decision to suspend or cancel your Account could include but are not limited to:
In the event that your Account is suspended, then no transaction of any kind, including Withdrawals and deposits, may be processed on the Account while the Account is subject to suspension.
We pride ourselves on providing best practice competitive products and Services to our customers. We seek to provide exemplary customer service. We understand that sometimes you may have complaints or disputes and we undertake to deal with these in a professional, timely and equitable manner.
Complaints and disputes must be raised within seven (7) days of the alleged incident occurring.
All complaints and disputes must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will provide a response to you within twenty-one days of your complaint being raised. Our response will be provided in writing to you to the email address that is associated with your Account.
Upon receipt of your dispute and/or complaint we reserve the right to immediately suspend your Account whilst we undertake an investigation regarding your dispute and/or complaint.
If you are unhappy with our decision with respect to New South Wales meetings, you may refer your dispute to Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission (GWIC) PO Box 718, Bathurst NSW 2795. This is your legal right in accordance with clause 5.1.22 of the conditions provided by the Minister in respect of section 16(5) of the Betting and Racing Act 1998 (NSW). With respect to Victorian meetings, you may refer your dispute to Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) 46-50 Chetwynd Street, West Melbourne, Victoria, 3003 who provide us with the authority to publish and use Victorian fields in accordance with section 4.2.3A of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic).
In the event of a dead heat the payout shall be the face value payout (including Stake) divided by the number of dead heaters.
In the event of a late scratching the payout shall be the payout prior to the scratching (including Stake) adjusted as per the Table of Deductions.
Where there are 8 runners in a race, a place shall be paid on first, second and third places. If you wagered on a fixed PLACE bet when the field had 8 or more runners and the field later reduced to 7 or less runners, first, second and third places will be paid, but deductions may/will apply as per our Table of Deductions.
Where there are 7, 6 or 5 runners in a race, a place shall be paid on first and second places only.
Where there are less than 5 runners in a race, all betting shall be win only.
If a late scratching(s) brings the field to less than 5 runners, all place bets/wagers will be deemed void and refunded to the Account.
If a runner is scratched, all bets/wagers made on that runner will be refunded.
Any un-resulted multi bets/wagers caused by the abandonment of a race will be recalculated minus the void selections, declared and any relevant dividends will be paid into Accounts.
Bets will be settled as per the official decision of Stewards on race-day. Where a greyhound is subsequently disqualified or placing’s amended at a later date, for any reason, the official result as declared by Stewards on the day of the race will stand.
You acknowledge, agree and warrant that we cannot be held liable for any Claims that could result from things including (but not limited to) the following:
In respect of any dispute arising from the interpretation and/or application of these terms and conditions and/or your dealings with us, you irrevocably agree to be governed by the laws in force in New South Wales and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
You agree to indemnity the indemnified parties against all claims, that may arise as a result of a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any other claims that occur as a result of you joining up to and using the Service, including accessing our Website and dealing with your Account. You agree that this indemnity applies no matter what the cause, including if it was as a result of our negligence.
From time to time the Website may have links to other third party websites. We are providing these links for information purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that we have no control of the accuracy, content, security, safety or otherwise of these websites and the corresponding information that they may provide. You further acknowledge and agree that Dogbet Pty Ltd cannot be held liable for any Claims that may arise as a result of you using or relying upon these third party websites.
At any time you may request that we close your Account. You can make this request on our Website by contacting us via email email@example.com, stating your full name and login name. Immediately after receiving a request to close your Account, we will cease to accept any new bets from you and will usually provide a payment of the monies held in your account to your nominated Australian financial institution on the next business day after your Account is closed.
If you have not provided your nominated Australian financial institution account details to you, we will write to you within 48 hours requesting same. Dogbet Pty Ltd will require evidence that the nominated financial institution account name is identical to the Dogbet Pty Ltd Account name. Such evidence shall constitute a verifiable copy of a bank statement that is not more than three months old.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, void or invalid, it is to be treated as being served from these Terms and Conditions, but the rest of these Terms and Conditions will not be affected.
Nothing in this Agreement will be deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture, agency or other form of fiduciary relationship between us or you and neither of us has to power to bind the other except as expressly authorised by these Terms and Conditions.
You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation, we can communicate and transact you via electronic means.
These Terms and Conditions, along with any other information on our Website, contains the entire agreement between you and us in respect of its subject matter and supersedes all prior communications in relation to it.
